Aaron G. “Stu” Stewart, 83, a native of Chickasha, OK and a resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mercedes Naquin Stewart; daughter, Denise Stewart Toups (David) of Houma; son, Richard Stewart (Judy) of Ocean Springs, MS; 5 grandchildren, Tiffanie Price and David Toups of Houma, Richard “Joe” Stewart of Biloxi, MS, Michael and Coby Stewart of Ocean Springs, MS; and 4 great-grandchildren, Alise, Kaylen, and Tate Price, and Aubrey Toups.
He was preceded in death by him his parents, Arvous and Myrtle Stewart; sister, Medra and husband Harvey Jervis of Oklahoma.
Stu was a retired Sr. Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force. He did 25 years active duty and 10 years civil service. He was a die-hard Saints, LSU, and Boomer Sooner fan. Stu loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family. He was honored by a Red, White, and Blue Ceremony at Ochsner’s as he left the hospital.
As per Stu’s wishes, there will be no services held at this moment.
