Carroll “Castro” Andrew Chauvin Sr., 82, a native and resident of Chauvin, passed away on August 5, 2023.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10am to 12pm, with the funeral service to begin at 12pm, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park.
He is survived by his wife, Gertie B. Chauvin; son, Carroll Chauvin Jr.; granddaughter, Jordis Chauvin; brothers, Carl (Jane), Larry (Linda), and Ralph (Robin) Chauvin; sisters, Sandra (Mike) Terrebonne and Marion Palmisano; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Mildred Chauvin; sister, Bertha (Larry) Blanchard.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park is in charge of arrangements.
