April 30, 1941  May 12, 2022

Claude “Jack” Guess, Jr., 81, died Thursday, May 12, 2022. Born April 30, 1941 he was a native of Kosciusko, Mississippi and a resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana, which he loved to call home for the past 25 years.

He is survived by his husband and companion of 40 years, Lin Guess; niece, Debbie Teeples (Blair) of North Ogden, Utah, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Guess, Sr. and Helen Guess; sister, Nella Trask.

Jack was an avid Saints and LSU fan. He was employed in the medical field, working in Cardiac Cath Labs in many states and using his expertise to develop new Cath Labs around the South. However, his most enjoyable job was as a local Wine and Spirit Specialist that he held for many years later in life. One of his greatest joys was growing his prized grapefruits, lemons and oranges on the bayou side and sitting and watching the alligators.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date followed by a private burial.
