Damian Billiot, 26, a lifelong resident of Dulac, LA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation in his honor on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery.
Damian is survived by his father, Don Billiot; stepfather, Jessie Duthu; brother, Don Billiot, Jr.; and sisters, Bristen Billiot, Breonnah Billiot (Keon), and Chansey Billiot; and maternal grandmother, Christine Billiot.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eva C. Verdin; maternal grandfather, Randolph Verdin; and paternal grandparents, Antoinette Verret and Clarence Billiot.
Damian was a loving son and brother. His family will forever remember him for being spiritual and spending his time in nature caring for and growing his own greens. When he wasn’t tending to his garden he was working on his truck or in the kitchen listening to music and cooking for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
