Frank Lajaunie

Frank Lajaunie, age 79, native and longtime resident of Houma, La., passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Frank on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church beginning at 9 am until service times at 11 am. A burial will take place afterwards in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Lajaunie; children, Randal Lajaunie (Melissa), Mickey Lajaunie Sr. (Mary), and Jasmine Parks; grandchildren, Kelcy Sapia (Donald), Mickey Lajaunie Jr. (Jamie), Randi Billiot (Gary), Spencer Lajaunie (Amber), Zackary Lajaunie (Nikki), and Katherine Lajaunie; great-grandchildren, Koby Boudreaux, Whitney Sapia, Cade Billiot, Riley Billiot, Rosie Billiot, Arabella Lajaunie, Brantley Duplantis, Weston Lajaunie, Brylie Smith, Tucker Smith, Olivia Lajaunie, Colton Boudreaux, and Landon Lajaunie; brothers, Robert Lajaunie Jr. and Calvin Lajaunie; and sisters, Francis Bergeron and Vella Sevin.

Frank is preceded in death by his children, Norman Bergeron and Rhonda Lajaunie; parents, Robert and Thelma Lajaunie; sisters, Lellius Stewart and June Olivier; and brother, Tarzan Lajaunie.

Frank was known for being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. On his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching football, especially LSU. Above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his family and loved ones.
