Gail Pellegrin Billiot, 58, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Fox Lake, IL passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Rosary at 8:30 am. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, James “Jim” Billiot; stepchildren, Jonas Billiot (Laurie) and Angela Fabian; mother, Mary Gladys Naquin; sisters, Penny Buller (Landry) Sam and Crystal Cadiere (Ke-Kay); step grandchildren, Kevin, Adam, Erin, and Natalie; nephews, Aaron Buller (Ana) and Cody Cadiere (Kim); and nieces, Erika Guidry (Drake) and Shelby Crockett (Nick).
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Joseph Pellegrin; maternal grandmother, Clothilde Bourg Ordoyne.
Gail will forever be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister, and a dear friend. No matter the occasion, Gail would go out of her way to send a card to all her family and friends, just to let them know that she was thinking of them. She had a big heart and cared about anyone and everyone, and never met a stranger. Gail will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well-wishes during this time. The family would also like to thank Marge Stelter for taking care of Jim and for all the help she’s given to the family.
