Hardy Hebert, 78, a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 30, 2022.


He was a retired Greyhound Bus Driver after 40 years of service, he was also a Veteran of the United States Navy.

 

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park-Houma from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park-Houma, at 11:00 am.

He is survived by his Wife, Linda Falgout Hebert; Son, Hardy Paul Hebert;  Daughter, Julia Hebert; three sister-in-laws, Charlene Aucoin, Gayle Falgout, Gaynell Harwell and husband Charlie; brother-in-law, Sonny Falgout and wife Sue; numerous nieces and nephews who adoringly referred to him as “Pa Hardy”.


He was preceded in death by his Father, Louis Hebert; Mother, Myrtle Adams Hebert; Brother, Louis “Pudge” Hebert; Sister, Mary Jane Hebert; Mother-in-law, Ducia Blanchard Falgout; sister-in-law, Joan Falgout; brother-in-law, Barry Aucoin, Sr.

The family would like to thank, St. Joseph Hospice, Dr. Daniel Johnson and Dr. Robert Ramirez at the Tom & Gayle Benson Cancer Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association or American Cancer Society for research.
