Huey Patrick Porche, 93, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and family on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 7:30 am. Huey was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Schriever, LA.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at St. Bridget Catholic Church from 10:00-12:00. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation on Wednesday at St. Bridget at 12:00pm (Noon) with burial taking place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
Huey is survived by his loving family: His wife of 25 years, Jeannette Richard Porche and son Christopher Porche (Billie Cottrell Porche), Stepsons: Bernie Barrilleaux (Julie), Timothy Barrilleaux (Brenda) Jeff Barrilleaux (Delaine), Terry Barrilleaux (Dawn), Andy Barrilleaux (Lynne), 14 Grand Children, 29 Great Grand Children, and 3 Great Great Grand Children.
Huey is preceded in passing by his parents, John Jasper and Hazel Aitkens Porche, Wife Aline Webre (Taddy) Porche, his son Mark Patrick Porche.
Huey was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter, and loved making his own fishing baits and rods. Huey and Taddy were also very involved with the mentally ill in Terrebonne and the state of Louisiana.
The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers make donations to the START Corporation, P.O. Box 165, Houma, LA 70361.
