Steven “Dale” Dubroc

Steven “Dale” Dubroc, a beloved father, brother, and uncle, passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on August 28, 1957, in Alexandria, LA, Steven brought joy and laughter to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Dale is survived by his children, Timmy, Joseph, Jessie, Shayla, and Chris who was like a son to Dale; numerous grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Dubroc, Millie Davis, and Angela “Winky”Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Belton and Ora Lachney Dubroc; brother, Calvin Dubroc.

Dale’s passion for life was evident in his many talents and interests. He was a skilled auto mechanic, dedicating his career to the automobile industry. With his vast knowledge and expertise, he could fix anything that rolled into his garage. Dale’s dedication and commitment to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dale was also a gifted singer and entertainer. He brought smiles to the faces of many as he shared his talents on various stages. His melodic voice and captivating performances touched the hearts of those who had the pleasure of hearing him, leaving a lasting impact on all who witnessed his artistry.

Dale’s kind and compassionate nature endeared him to his family, especially his niece, Sheryl Brabham. He cherished his role as an uncle and took pride in being a loving presence in her life. Their bond was one of unconditional love and support, and Dale’s memory will forever live on in Sheryl’s heart.

In Dale’s final disposition, he will be cremated, symbolizing his transition from our physical world to the realm of cherished memories that reside within our hearts. His spirit will forever remain with us, guiding us and reminding us to embrace life with passion, love, and laughter, just as he did.
