Loretta “Grammy” Trahan, a native and resident of Houma, gained her angel wings on Friday, December 3, 2021, at the age of 81.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Thibodeaux, Jr. (Tonya), Tammy Thibodeaux, Todd Trahan (Tammy), Brett Trahan (Martha), Ryan Trahan (Christy), and Deanna Quick; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Maurice Primeaux, Jr. (Paulette).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice Primeaux, Sr. and Lilly Dronette; grandchildren, Patrick Todd Trahan, Todd Trahan, Jr., and Nicholas “Nick” Trahan; son-in-law, Sidney “Coco” Quick.


Loretta will forever be remembered as a loving and caring person and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
