Mardel Richard Davis, 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Born January 21, 1955 she was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 8:30 until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial following at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Kye Chiasson (James); sons, B.J. Durocher (Desiree), Gabriel Durocher (Zina); mother, Rose Blanchard Richard; grandchildren, Shane Cooley, Tyler Durocher, Trey Durocher, Deryn Chiasson, Harley Cooley, Leighanne Durocher, David Durocher, Delani Urps, Brayden Durocher, Ethan Gray, Owen Chiasson, Bubba Urps, Julia Chiasson; great grandchild, Kolton Trahan and one on the way, Anthony Barnes; siblings, Keith Paul Richard, Sr., Denise Calcote (Wade) and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Richard; brother, Michael Richard; grandparents, Marie and Emile Blanchard; grandson, Jordan Morrell.
She was a member of the Krewe of Cleophas and served as their queen in 2016. She sold Ring Bomb and was a wonderful seamstress. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
