Murphy “Mickey” Dupre, Jr., 66 a native and resident of Chauvin, La. passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm, with the funeral service to begin at 6pm.
Mickey is survived by his children, Ryan “Chip” Clark (Mandy) of Houma, Adam Clark of Alabama, Aaron Dupre (Leah) of Mississippi and Kati Dupre (Conner) of Thibodaux; 5 grandchildren; mother of his children, Paula Dupre of Mississippi; brothers, Wayne (June) Dupre and Joel Dupre of Houma and sister Maria Dupre (Karen) of New Mexico, his girlfriend Michelle Rhodes, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Murphy Sr. and Eta P. Dupre and nephew Gary W. Dupre.
Mick was a loving, dedicated father and grandfather. He loved playing guitar and singing. Mick will be missed by all who truly knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to assist with funeral expenses.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
