Michael ” Menew” Breaux, 68, a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2023.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Samart Funeral home of Houma, West Park from 9:00am until funeral service starting at 11:00am. The burial will take place at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery II following the funeral service.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristina Gill (Brandon); son, Jimmy Breaux; brother, Mark Breaux (Rose); grandchildren, Trent Fitch, Karmyn Gill, Jaxson Breaux, and Imoni Breaux.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Dupre Breaux and his parents, Noah Breaux and Leola Hartman Breaux.
Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and beloved friend. He loved his fast cars, motorcycles, and working on engines. After working at Otis/ Halliburton for 36 years he retired, where he made many memories and great friendships. He was also a member of the Evergreen lions club of Terrebonne Parish for many years. Michael was a very simple, caring man, but known to be a big teddy bear. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. May he rest in peace.
