Lanny James Bergeron, 75, of Houma, passed away on July 6, 2023.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Samart Funeral Home of West Park. Visitation with begin at 5:00pm until service time starting at 7:00pm.
He is survived by his Daughter, Sherry Verdin (John); son, Brian Bergeron (Tina), daughter, Dawn Verdin (Nolton); son, David Bergeron (Channon); son, Lee Bergeron; brothers, Floyd Bergeron, Melvin Bergeron, and Alger Bergeron; sister, Janet Wells (Don), followed by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Sr. and Doris Bergeron; brothers, Stanely Bergeron Jr, Elton Bergeron and Terry Bergeron; sisters, Elsie Rich and Meril Allen.
Lanny loved spending time with his family and friends, he especially loved being outdoors hunting and fishing. Lanny was known for his contagious smile,great sense of humor, and always put a smile on anyone’s face. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him, may he rest in peace.
