Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Samart Funeral Home on West Park from 9:00 am till 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery in Schriever.
He is survived by his wife, Sri Wahyuningsih-Leonard; sons, Brandon Lee Leonard and Slade Leonard; daughter, Tippi Leonard; two grandchildren, Trent Folse and Kiah Leonard; sisters, Meril (Gene) Hebert, Judy (Steve) Larpenter, Sybil Leonard, and Elizabeth Leonard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Antoinette Trahan Leonard; son, Mikey Leonard; brothers, Norman “Tookie” Leonard and Herbert Leonard; and sister, Glenda Forse.
Mike was a loving person. He enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and making people laugh with his sense of humor. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Mike was a very hard worker and provider for his family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, then worked at J. Ray McDermott then retired after 41 years. Mike will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
