Noella G. Champagne, 88, a native of Caernarvon, LA and a long time resident of Chauvin, passed away on December 10, 2023.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 9:30am to 11:30am, with the Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:30am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Derrel Champagne; daughters, Bonnell Champagne and Doreen LeBouef (Ray); grandchildren, Clifford Champagne, Kristie Mott, Janet Pitre, Allie LeBouef Jr., Russell LeBouef, Stacey Schouest, Lacey Schouest, Darrin Champagne, Wendy Tardif, Marty Resweber, and Kristin Evans; 23 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren; and sister, Francis Hunicutt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dewey Champagne; parents, Russell and Cecile Gaeto; brother, Anthony Gaeto; sisters, Josephine Bouffanie, Sarah Carriere, and Dorothy Menesses.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
