Patricia Guidry, age 73, Native of Shreveport and long-time resident of Houma La., passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023.
Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend a visitation for Patricia on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel starting at 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. You are also welcome to attend the funeral service at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel Wednesday July 19, 2023, at 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Kurnest “Snookie” Guidry; daughter, Lori Hebert (Chad); grandson, Jamie Hebert (Casidhe); granddaughter, Issabella Hebert; sister-in-law, Phyllis Dugas (Buddy); brothers-in-law, Clinton Liner Sr. (Merrill), Randy Liner Sr. (Mary), Ralph Liner (Stacy), Kevin Liner (Shannon); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Harold Bruce and Betty Lowery and stepfather Fred Lowery; brothers, James Lowery and Mike Bruce; maternal and paternal grandparents; mother and father-in-law, Francis “Tuttie” and Ivy “Shine” Liner; and brother-in-law Martin “Cat” Guidry.
Patricia truly loved working with her special needs children and Mrs. Rose Pitre at Oaklawn Jr. High for 32 years. On her free time, she loved going to the library and checking out books to read, going to the casino, but most of all she enjoyed spending her time with her family and loved ones.
