Houma man arrested on seven drug, weapons related charges

Patsy “Pat” J. Portier, 75, a native and resident of Chauvin, gained her wings on October 19, 2023 at 10:01pm.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 9am to 11am, with the funeral service to begin at 11am, at Samart funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Buffy Domangue and husband Kevin, Chad Portier and wife Angela, Jaime LeBoeuf and husband Howard, and Robbie Portier and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Jody (Megan), Amanda (Brandon), Chad Jr. (Olivia), Jenson (Ashlee), Katelyn (Logan), Lexi (Timmy), Chelsey, Gage, Gracyn, Brandt, and Brylan; greart grandchildren, Mckensi, Madison, Henry, and Charles; brother, Donald Martin; sister, Leila “Sue” Luke; aunt, Jeannie Frank; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Simon Morris and Rosa Dell Martin; and the father of her children, Russell Portier Sr.
Pat lived for her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
