Richard “Ricky” Lee Comeaux, a native of Eunice and a resident of Houma, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at the age of 60.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 wonderful years, Donna Marie Hebert Comeaux; children, Cory Lee Comeaux (Jessica) and Mindy Marie Comeaux; grandchildren, Brennan John Comeaux, Taylor LeeAnn Comeaux, and Tyler Lee Comeaux; mother, Cora Louise Comeaux; sisters, Brenda Bonvillain and Chris Cunningham; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his canine companion, Daisy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Vinton Comeaux; and brother-in-law, Ivy John Bonvillain, Jr.
Ricky will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and best friend. He worked for Weatherford International and J&J Exterminating. Ricky enjoyed playing golf with his friends, making jokes, and taking care of his grandchildren and all the children in his family. He always wanted to be sure everyone was laughing and smiling when he was around. Ricky will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
