Roderick “Kip” Brown, 54, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Gray, LA, passed away peacefully at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Plymouth Rock Baptist Church, 1000 Wallis Street, Houma, LA, 70360. Burial will follow in Deweyville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Cherlyn Allen Brown; children, Jerrett, JaCoby and Ashley Allen; mother, Regeina Tardieff Brown; brothers, Troy, Kelly, Travis, Kevin Brown, Corey Smith and John Paul Johnson; sisters, Annette Joseph (Otis), Linette Williams, Toni Turner, Kellie and Stacy Cook; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Brown; brothers, Frederick and Edwick Brown; paternal grandparents, Clarence Brown and Carrie Walker; maternal grandparents, Joseph Tardieff and Harriett Scott.
