Ronnie E. Burrough, 70, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on April 3, 2022.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park. Burial will take place on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 12pm at Zion Memorial Cemetery.

Ronnie was known to so many people as a hard worker. To us he was our provider, the bull of the family. Many say he was a strong and smart man. And that he was. He would turn nothing into something in a matter of minutes. He made friends easily, and his family adored him. Nothing meant more to him than his grandkids and his dog, known as his best friend, Booga Bear. His great outdoor adventures led to meat on everyone’s table. Holidays meant everyone got a smoked ham. He was a tough man but laughed hard. He was the funny uncle, laughed at and laughed with. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Burrough; son, Michael Burrough; daughter, Stefanie Babin; son in law, John Babin; daughter, Jennifer Burrough; future son in law, Paul Foret; three grandsons, Austin Babin, Aaron Babin, and Adam Babin; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Richie Louise Coburn Burrough; his older brothers, Jerry P. Burrough and Jimmy Burroughs.

May this husband, daddy, grandpa, uncle, cousin, and friend rest in eternal peace walking the golden streets of Heaven with Jesus forever.

We love you, Daddy.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park is in charge of arrangements.
