Fishermen have lots to do this summer in the Tri-parishes

School’s out. The heat has arrived, and fishing boats are lined up as far as the eye can see.

It can only mean one thing: summertime.

With Louisiana being known as “Sportsman’s Paradise,” Tri-parish residents are sure to take to the waters for recreational fishing in hopes of catching “the big one.”

From now until November, the area is full of fishing rodeos.

Here is a look at the scheduled rodeos in the area.
