The LSU soccer team continued its red-hot start to the season this weekend, scoring a 2-0 road victory against Kentucky.

The Tigers are now 5-1 in Southeastern Conference play and 10-4-1 overall on the season.

Initially, things didn’t look as bright for LSU.

The Tigers opened the season on a five-game road trip, winning just two of the contests.

But a trip home was just what the doctor ordered for LSU. After the road trip, the Tigers had a seven-game homestand, going unbeaten throughout the entire stay.

In total, LSU is 8-1-1 in its last 10 games and is now ranked No. 25 in the country.

Of those wins, the Tigers defeated No. 10 Tennessee on Sept. 30.

The Tigers will return to the pitch Friday when they take on Auburn.
