October 15, 2009Registration for the Thibodaux Recreation Department (TREC) boys and girls Youth Basketball Program, ages 7-17, continues through Nov. 27
The registration fee is $30 and payable at the Peltier Recreation Center, 151 Peltier Park Drive.
The season runs from Jan. 4 to Feb. 25, 2010 at the Warren J. Harang, Jr. Municipal Auditorium.
The New Orleans Hornets will host a “Thibodaux Recreation Department Night” at the New Orleans Arena on Wednesday, Feb.17, 2010.
Eight TREC teams will be selected by luck of the draw to play on the “Court of Dreams” prior to the Hornets vs. Utah Jazz game. TREC players attending the event may be invited to participate in pre-game activities.
Tickets are $14.00 per person ages 3 and up and can be ordered through TREC until Jan. 22. Tickets must be picked up at the Recreation Department no later than 4:00 p.m. on Feb.12.
An adult must accompany registrants attending the game. Police escort and bus transportation will be provided free of charge if needed.
