Thank God for the mercy rule. That is probably what Central Catholic thought as it was trounced after six innings of non-district action.

The Gators moved to 20-1 for the year.

Ben Landry got the win for the Gators allowing two runs, seven hits, striking out one and walking two.

South Terrebonne had 14 hits. Ronnie Belanger (3-for-4, home run, five RBIs), Alex Prestenbach (2-for-3, homer, four RBIs) and Kurt Charpentier (1-for-2, triple, three RBIs) led the Gators at the plate.
