The Vandebilt Terriers will play for their sixth state championship in seven years next weekend, via a 2-0 win over Lee High last Saturday in Houma. Vandebilt will play East Ascension on Saturday, with the time and location to be determined. The Terriers (17-11-1) used an early goal and a late goal to defeat Lee. Zach Blum scored in the 5th minute, while freshman T.J. Freeman (pictured) added a goal in the 81st minute. Last season, the Terriers defeated East Ascension in the state championship game, 8-0.
