The Gators remained undefeated beating district rival H.L. Bourgeious Saturday in six innings of baseball. The game was called due to the 10-run mercy rule.

The Gators (14-0, 2-0 in district) stole 11 bases, while the Braves (7-11, 0-1) committed seven errors in their first district game of the season.


Alex Prestenbach got the win with five strikeouts and walks each.

Belle Chasse 10, Ellender 6

The Cardinals scored runs in the first five innings to beat the Patriots (7-9, 1-2) in district action at Belle Chasse.

Craig Pellegrin got the loss giving six runs on five hits and two walks

The Patriots, who got two hits and an RBI from Chad Wallis and an RBI double from Shawn Billiot, scored single runs in the third and fourth innings and four runs in the sixth inning.
