Congratulations to Vandebilt Catholic High School Senior Corrine Talbot, who signed a letter of intent today to play softball at Southwest Mississippi Community College for the Fall of 2024!

Talbot has been playing softball since she was 7 years old, and is excited to continue her athletic and academic career at Southwest Mississippi Community College. “We are so proud of Corrine– she works super hard,” said VCHS’ Coach Duplantis. “She is a true leader on our team, and we are so happy to celebrate her accomplishments today.”

“I’m very excited to be signing today. This is something I’ve dreamed of since I was young,” said Talbot. “I want to thank all my past and current coaches and teammates, because they have all pushed me to become a better version of myself on and off the field. I also want to specially thank my pitching coach, James Spearman, because I would not be where I am without him. Finally, a big thanks to my dad– softball has always been our thing together, and he pushed me to be the best.”

Talbot is currently planning to study to become a dentist one day. Congratulations to Corrine for your achievement!
