The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested two men this past week in separate incidents involving inappropriate sexual contact with juveniles.
Bonrg man arrested for sexual battery
A 44-year-old Bourg man is in custody of the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office after he allegedly fondled a juvenile.
Last week, LPSO juvenile detectives were called to investigate Sandy Dye, 44, of Bourg, after receiving a report that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under the age of 13.
Authorities made contact with Dye on Feb. 25 and questioned him about the incident. After questioning, he was taken into custody and placed under arrest.
Dye was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex where he is charged with sexual battery (forcible fondling). Bond has been set at $100,000.
LPSO said no other details will be released at this time due to the nature of the alleged crime.
Vidalia man arrested for sex offenses in waving a juvenile.
On March 1, a 37-year-old Vidalia man was charged with sexual battery and indecent behavior with a juvenile after an alleged incident in Lafourche.
In February 2019, juvenile detectives began investigating Willie Kimball. 37, of Vidalia, after learning that he reportedly had inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile under the age of 13 at one point last year.
After investigating, authorities obtained warrants for the suspect’s arrest.
Kimball was later arrested by authorities in Concordia Parish and taken to the Lafourche Pariah Correctional Complex on Feb. 26.
He is charged with sexual battery (forcible fondling) and indecent behavior with juveniles.
His bail is set at $100,000, but he is ineligible to make bail because of a hold by the Louisiana Probation and Parole Board.
Sandy Dye was charged with sexual battery after he had inappropriate sexual contact with a child under 18.
Willie Kimball is charged with sexual battery and indecent behavior with juveniles.
