Missouri man charged with sexual battery, accused of aggravated incest with young victim

A 44-year-old Missouri man is accused of sexually abusing a juvenile victim while he was living in Lafourche.

In May, juvenile detectives said they started an investigation after receiving a complaint about a family member who had been sexually abused bv William Patrick Gil-lam, 44, of Duenweg, Missouri, during previous years when he was a native of Lafourche.

Through investigation, authorities learned that the alleged abuse took place over the course of several years.

Authorities said the original incident occurred about six years ago in Raceland, which is where Gilliam resided at the time.

During investigation, detectives said they learned that Gilliam had allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with the victim – both in Lafourche and also other jurisdictions.

Upon hearing that, LPSO obtained warrants for Gilliam’s arrest on charges of aggravated incest and sexual battery (forcible fondling).

In late May, LPSO said its detectives learned that Gilliam was in custody in Jasper County in Missouri on other charges.

Detectives believe the juvenile is the sole victim of Gilliam’s alleged abuse.

Because of the nature of the crimes, LPSO said it will not release any more information.

Traffic stop nets sizable drug charges for Montegut woman, Houma man

A traffic stop conducted by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office led to the arrest of two suspects – both charged with multiple drug-related offenses.

On June 5, 2017 at approximately 11:30 p.m., agents with the Terrebonne Narcotics Strike Force were on patrol on Grand Caillou Road when they witnessed a white Chevy Blazer with a switched license plate turn off the road and onto Graham Drive.

Officers conducted a stop, which took place at the intersection of Graham Drive and Ashland Drive in the Ashland North Subdivision.

Agents identified the driver as Natasha Molinere, 36, of La. Highway 55, Montegut.

The passenger was identified as Ardis Lovell, 35, of 1151 Church St., Houma.

After investigation, agents said they located two bags of suspected cocaine, a bag of suspected crystal meth, three and three-fourths doses of Alprazolam, three and three-fourths doses of OxyContin, a digital scale and numerous syringes in the vehicle.

Authorities took both suspects into custody without incident.

Molinere is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Type II), driver not licensed, no liability insurance, no registration certificate, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (Type II) and possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (Type IV).

Molinere is held on a $50,000 bond.

Lovell is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Type II), possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (Type II) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Type IV) in relation to the traffic stop.

Authorities also learned that Lovell had several active warrants for his arrest, so he’s now charged with those offenses as well.

The warrants were for possession of drug paraphernalia, multiple counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Type III and Type IV), possession of marijuana, flight using motor vehicle and obstruction of justice.

Lovell remains in jail on a $167,000 bond.
