JOIN THE Foundation for Terrebonne General Medical Center Oct. 1 for this fourth annual event hosted on the roof of the TGMC parking garage, 8166 Main St., Houma. While enjoying the view of downtown Houma, enjoy delicious food from Big Mike’s Barbecue, live music and time with neighbors and friends. The event is held from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $40. ART FOR ALS

CREATE A beautiful painting for your home or office Oct. 2 at this painting party to raise money for the ALS Association. Instructors from Painting BaYou, a paint party company in Galliano, shows participants how to create a Louisiana Fleur de Lis painting on a 16×20 wrapped canvas at the Cut Off Youth Center, 205 W. 79th St., Cut Off.
