Carmelite Brown, 84, a native of White Castle, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015.
Mrs. Brown was a retired teacher of the St. Charles Parish School Board. She loved cooking and enjoyed spending time with family.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, Donna (fiance Ronnie Theriot) Migues, Mike, Lori Jean Brown, Gary (Sonda Croker), Barbara (Dwayne) Schexnayder and Valerie (David) Folse; daughter-in-law, Livea Brown; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosie Pfister.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Brown’s name to Parkinson’s Foundation and Hospice of Acadiana are appreciated. Burial is at St. Mary’s Nativity Church Cemetery.
