Clyde Naquin

Clyde Joseph Naquin, 98, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Monday, December 19, 2016.

Mr. Naquin served in the Army Air Corps and served in England and Germany. He formed the corporation Leon Naquin and Son, Inc. and was an electrical consultant for the City of Thibodaux and Shell Pipelines after retirement. He was a charter member of the Thibodaux Lion’s Club, was president of the Laurel Valley Foundation, Nicholls Century Club, Bayou Country Club, Associated Building Contractors of Louisiana and was a vice-president for Lafourche National Bank’s Board of Directors.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Oncale; children, Clyde Jr. (Betsy), Adrian (Lisa) and Donald (Deborah) Naquin, Jacqueline (Bill) Mason and Leila (Robert) Guillot; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
