Coyote kill raises ire, but little action

David “Tree” Denis Roundtree, 65, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Chacahoula, La., died on Monday, June 12,2017.
Mr. Roundtree was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping and spending time with loved ones. He was a well-known inspector and worked in oil and gas for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Cheramie Roundtree; sons, Brent (Jen) and Brandon (Rachael) Roundtree; step-children, Nikki (Mark) Thibodeaux, Michelle (Marc) Waldron, Dean (Brandy) Lirette and Robbi Gouaux; siblings, Ellis (Sue) Roundtree Jr., Linda Knight, Clair (Stephen) Poirrier and Susan (Dean) Bourgeois; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
