Doris Mae DeHart Authement, age 90, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 13, 2018. She was a native of Dulac and a resident of Houma.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Charlene A. Rodrigue and husband, Nelton Jr., Catherine A. Champagne and husband, Vernon, Faye A. Theriot and husband, Marty, and Vera A. Champagne and husband, Darrel: sisters-in-law, Joyce DeHart and Velma DeHart; brother, Magnus DeHart and wife, Shirley; brother-in-law, Patrick “Pat” Carlos; grandchildren, David (Michelle) Rodrigue, Todd (Paige) Rodrigue, Sherry (Rickie) Champagne Kraemer, Verne (Donovan) Champagne, Nicholas (Kristy) Theriot, Michelle (Samuel) Theriot Dishman, Sandy Champagne, and Matthew (Baley) Champagne; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Doris was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was the Owner/Operator of Huey Ice Company for 44 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, going to the casino, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Special thanks to caregivers, Joyce Foret, Sarah Barnes, Hunter Kraemer and Misty Kraemer, and Hospice of South Louisiana.
