Doris “Dot” Pitre Rhodes, 93, passed away at 11:24 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was a native and resident of Houma.
Dot is survived by her children, Gary Olivier and wife, Barbara, Cheryl Maynard and husband, Bill, Elena Savoie and husband, Weldon, and Leslie Rodrigue and husband, Melvin; son-in-law, Robert Bergeron; grandchildren, Donna Pinell, Sherri Stewart, Ryan Eschete, Ian Maynard, Brett Bergeron, Scott Rhodes, Hayley and Hannah Savoie, Vince Moore, and Lisa Bourgeois; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Dot was the sweetest and most loving women a person could meet. She loved spending time with her family, whom she dearly loved. Our mother “Miss Dot” was a homemaker. Her doors were always opened, and she welcomed all who entered.
The family would like thank Dr. Ray Cinnater and Dr. Jules Dupont and staff. The family would also like to thank Heritage Manor of Houma and St. Catherine’s Hospice.
