Evelyn Zonell Walton, 78, a native of Mexia, Tx., and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:19 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 02:19 PM.
Mrs. Walton was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. She loved her family, sewing, making crafts and working in her garden.
She is survived by her sons, Gordon (Linette) and David (Teresa) Walton; daughters, Stephanie (Stephen) Haydel and Pam (Lynn) Krouse; sister, Martha Alice Jefferson; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houma.
