Florence Margaret Champagne Webre, 88, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015.
Visitation will be today at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Webre was a nurse’s aide at Terrebonne Parish General Hospital for many years. She then worked alongside her husband, the late Sidney Webre, at Fakier’s Jewelers and, later, Sidney’s Watch Repairs.
Mrs. Webre is survived by her sons, Richard Sr. (Freddie), David (Janet) and Donald (Rhonda) Webre; daughters, Kathleen (Wayne Sr.) Unbehagen, Rose (Benjamin) Geiger, Jeanie Webre, Judy (Tom) Wilson and Ruth (Barry Sr.) Cologne; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grand-children; brother, Abby Champagne; and sisters, Olga Martin and Beulah (Mary) McCormick.
