Francis “Pete” Andrew Boquet, 94, a native and resident of Houma, died Thursday, May 10, 2018.

He is survived by his children, Wade Boquet, Martin (Kathy) Boquet, Carlin (Gene) Boquet Martin, and Francis (Lee) Boquet II; grandchildren, Carolyn Boquet, Francine (Jason) Breaux, Martin “Marty” (Kelly) Boquet, Kerry “Binky” (Rachel) Boquet, Andy (Jessica) Martin, Angele (Brandon) Dupre, Allie (Brad Bergeron) Martin, Allyse Martin, Aaron Martin, Blake Picou, Francis Boquet III, and Grant Boquet; great grandchildren, Savanna Boquet, Amelie Boquet, Vivian Boquet, Lily Boquet, Clara Boquet, Stella Boquet, Bryant (Courtney) Breaux, Brenna Breaux, Jordyn Dupre, Madelyn Dupre, Landon Dupre, Gabrielle Martin, Aidan Martin, Jude Martin, Saige (Jon McFeeters) Bergeron, Destry Bergeron, Lillian Bergeron, and Mila Picou; great-great grandchildren, Rylee Breaux, Allysia McFeeters, Karsyn McFeeters, and Camryn McFeeters; and brother Norris “T’ Pete” (Joyce) Boquet Jr

Francis proudly retired from Texaco after 38-years of service. He enjoyed spending time at his camp, with his family, cooking, wood-working, and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.


The family would like to offer their sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Fadi Abou-Assi and the staff of Kindred at Home and Heritage Manor of Houma for the loving and exceptional care given to Francis.
