Gilbert Bergeron, 73, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016.
Mr. Bergeron loved going to the camp at Lake Decade, going fishing and listening to the Jam Sessions. He was a NASCAR fan and Saints Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Bergeron; daughters, Patricia (Joey) Benoit and Rhonda (Jose’) Perez; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Violet McLaughlin, Carmen (Dewey) Rogers and Kim (Joey) Quick.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales from 9:30-11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at St. Francis de Sales. Burial will be in Terrebonne Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Bergeron’s memory to St. Francis de Sales School are appreciated.
