Dates set for Tarpon Basketball Camp

Guy J. Knight Sr., a native of Mathews, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
Mr. Knight, known for his trademark cigar, was an original member of the Future Farmer of America Club and a founding member of the 308 Lafourche Crossing Fire Department.
A former U.S. National Guard reservist, he was a lifelong sugar cane farmer, a field agent for the Lafourche USDA office and a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Delia Badeaux Knight; son, Guy (Georgina) Knight, Jr.; daughters, Janet Knight and Myra (Michael) Carrasco; brother, Leroy (Vella) Knight; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
