Lafourche School Board to consider raises, bonds

December 13, 2016The Krewe of Hercules and the Terrebonne Parish Council on Aging are teaming up this weekend to make sure everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The organizations are hosting a Christmas dinner for the area’s needy and elderly citizens on Saturday at the Houma Municipal Auditorium.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. — 2 p.m.
During the event, Hercules will present its 2017 royalty. Music and other entertainment will be present, and kids will receive gifts.
“This is our 25th year doing this event. It’s something that means an awful lot to us,” Terrebonne Council on Aging Executive Director Diana Edmonson said. “We love to help give everyone a good feeling at this time of the year.”
