The Krewe of Hercules parade has been postponed to Saturday due to inclement weather.
Hercules President Mark Pitre confirmed the postponement to The Times this morning. The parade, originally scheduled to begin tonight at 6p.m., will now follow the Krewe of Aquarius tomorrow, with Aquarius scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
Current weather reports give Houma a 50 percent chance of rain at 6 p.m. tonight with that figure rising to 80 percent and above from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for a partly cloudy day with a 20 percent chance of rain.
