Happy Holidays everyone, and welcome to Lafourche Pariah Public Library! December is always a fun and event felled month at our libraries. SANTA AND MRS. CIAUS ARE COMING TO TOWN!

A favorite of both kids and adults is the annual visit of Mrs. Clans and/or Santa. Come visit and take a picture while telling Mrs. Claus all she needs to tell Santa for you! Or you might Q*t Lucky and get to visit with Santa! H? is very busy tins time of year!

ANIMAL TALES’ HOLIDAY SAFARI IS COMING TO TOWN!

Animal Tales’ Holiday Safari, featuring six “surprise” animals, is making its way to LP-PLibraries this December! In this interactive show, audience members are asked to solve riddles about the animals before their identities are revealed. Animal Tales then presents the animals to the audience, and not only do you get to see these cool cutters up dose, you also get to learn some fun facts about them! You never know what kinds of amazing animals are going to show up in the Holiday Safari, so make plans to join us! Holiday Safari audience members will get “hands-on” experience with several animal, & will walk away with an appreciation & understanding of the role & impor-tance of these animals to their ecosystem.

3RD ANNUAL LOUISIANA AUTHORS BOOK FAIR


The Thibodaux Branch Library will be hosting its third annual Louisiana Authors Book Fair on Saturday, December 8th. The Book Fair will be a come-and-go event from 10 AM to 2 PM. Local authors will be showcasing their books and will be available for questions and discussion Patrons attending last year’s Book Fair thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the authors. Organizers agreed that the another’s J expressed enjoyment talking to their readers. Many genres will be represented from local history to his-torical romance, from cookbooks to inspirational stories, from children’s book to murder mysteries and everything in between. This will prove to be a wonderful time to share experiences.

So, if there is a particular person on your Christmas list who is an avid reader or you are looking for a unique gift for a special someone, come to the third annual Louisiana Authors Book Fair.
