J.C. “Jake” Matherne, 85, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of St. Charles Community, La., died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015.
Mr. Matherne was a veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Matherne is survived by his children, teve “Zeke” (Kay) Matherne, Mark “Square” (Donna) Matherne, Michelle (Kim) Matherne and Angelle (Michael) Blanchard; one grandson; brothers, Kirlin, Clarence Jr., Francis and Robert Matherne; and sisters, Verna Theriot and Bernice Falgout.
Burial is at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery. (Falgout Funeral Home)
