Lawrence Jefferson Bueche, Jr., 91, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:34 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016.
Mr. Beuche was a United States Navy veteran in World War II, with the rank SM3C. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6170 and the American Legion. He was an extraordinary minister at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and a retired jeweler.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Antoinette Fanguy Bueche; children, Kerry (Jan), Michael (Sandra), Philip (Cathy), Gene (Mary), Christohper (Linda), John and Carl Beuche, Laura (Roy) Landry, Sister Ellene Anne of the Cross and Mary (Grant) Voisin; siblings, Gloria and Carol Eschete, Errol Bueche and Mary Theriot; 28 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery in Houma.
