With District bid decided, Houma ready for statewide Cleanest City

Dear Editor,

Our community continues to garner awards and recognition.

We can now add 2015 District Cleanest City honors to our list of accomplishments. With the help of countless volunteers, local businesses, and community groups we were able to make a great impression on the Cleanest City Contest judges.

We can only celebrate this victory for a short time. As a result of our District win, Houma will move on to compete in the state-wide Cleanest City Contest set to take place on Thursday.

We are confident that with the same outpouring of volunteers and community support that Houma will once again come out on top.
