Millard Marcel Jr.

Millard James Marcel Jr., 56, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015.

Mr. Marcel was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He was a member of the Coastal Conservation Association, Ducks Unlimited and the South Central Industrial Association, La Maison de Chien Fishing Rodeo. He enjoyed fishing and turkey, duck and deer hunting. He also enjoyed working on his home projects and traveling with his family.

Mr. Marcel is survived by his wife, Sandra Foret Marcel; parents, Millard Sr. and Julia Marcel; daughter, Jessica (Jamie Paul) White; brother, Barry Marcel; sisters, Yvonne (Perel) Legendre and Julie (Les) Minter; and one granddaughter.

Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
