Myriam Catherine Breaux Winders, 95, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:27 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
Mrs. Winders was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Her devout faith opened her heart to all God’s creations. Her family was her primary focus in life. She was the matriarch of Dr. C.F. Breaux and Victoire Marmande families.
She is survived by her son, Raymond (Margaret) Winders Jr.; daughters, Myriam Thibodeaux, Margaret (Roger) McChargue, Lydia Vedros, Victoria (Hulon) Moorman and Susan Simon; 10 grandchildren.
Burial is at Magnolia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
