Courtney is a multi-sport standout for Thibodaux High School athletics. She is an All-District guard for the Lady Tigers basketball team, one of the most explosive players in the Houma-Thibodaux area. She is also among the best locally in track and field, as well, owning countless gold medals for her events in the jumping events.

Strengths:

On the basketball court, Courtney is skilled. She’s capable of beating opponents off the dribble, but also owns a quality outside shot. Her athleticism allows her to defend players of multiple positions, which is an asset to the team. In track and field, Courtney’s technique is sound, which allows her to fly through the air and splash deep into the sand. Courtney is also a quality student and is coachable, according to those who work with her daily.


Goals for the season:

“Make a push in the playoffs.”

“She is a pretty consistent scorer for us. She does a really good job playing hard every day and every practice. She’s one of our leaders, and we’re definitely going to miss having her in our locker room next year.”

Credentials:

Thibodaux High School guard Courtney Clark is one of the best all-around athletes in the entire Houma-Thibodaux area. On the basketball floor, Courtney is a quality guard who possesses the ability to score 20-plus points any time she takes the floor. In track, she’s one of the best in the state, owning several titles and MVP trophies for her dominance in the field events.
